Let us rage against the dying of the light.

Our system of justice is broken, twisted, and unworkable. And sadly nobody seems to give a shit. If voices are raised in protest I do not hear them. I hear many things. I hear screams for lower taxes, jobs, better sitcoms. But what about cries for justice, for the righting of wrongs, for cleaning up our streets and our schools? Is it necessary for us to become direct victims of crime before our eyes are opened?

We live in the freest and richest time in human history. We can put a man on the moon and harness the power of the atom yet a few lowlifes put colored bandannas on their heads give themselves a moronic name and we seem powerless against them. We can declare war on terror and fly to the other side of the world and crush entire countries on a whim, but our mothers can't walk alone on any city sidewalk without fear and anxiety gripping their hearts.

There has to be a better way. I would like to explore That way here.

We are all guilty. Let's not kid ourselves. For too many years we have run away and hid in suburbs too afraid to stand up to those that slowly turned our society into a cesspool. Like the ostrich we fooled ourselves into thinking that as long as our heads remained buried the problems didn’t exist. It worked, at least for a time, but now law abiding citizens of the human community stand besieged on all fronts by the influences of lawlessness and irresponsibility. Suburbia's walls no longer protect us because our children have been infected and they too, in the innocent manner of children, bring the filth into our homes.

It is time for us to wake up and rage against those that have taken our freedoms. Throughout history our ancestors have died by the millions on battlefields long forgotten out of necessity because to them freedom and justice were more important than life itself. We have it a great deal easier. All we need to do is to show our outrage and push for the laws that allow animals to roam our streets to be changed. Once we do that, all we have to do is take the muzzle off our police and corrections officers.

Go get them!

Go get them!

Hunt the animals.

Our These things we can shout with glee and our officers, many who up to this point had to become criminals themselves to do the job, will flood the streets and like a large Blue broom sweep the garbage off our sidewalks never to be seen again.
